Description: Sera is a friendly and
superbly athletic dappled grey filly with exceptional endurance. She races and plays with well her
pasture mates. She also enjoys quick turns, short stops and jumping logs at liberty in the woods. Did
we mention her movement? Fabulous. With impulsion, reach and suspension like this you would never think that she
is half draft. Maybe one of these days we'll have the camera on hand when she is showing off her beautiful trot.
There is no doubt in our minds that Sera will make an outstanding mount for the serious eventing competitor. She
is a good size, well muscled filly with a strong topline, a nice head and neck and as one would expect, very good
bone. Sera is expected to mature around 16.1-16.2 hh.
Sera's sire Macha Breeze RID has competed in driving, eventing and is now owned by Blackberry Ridge Farm. Not only has he been training
and competing in eventing but so are several of his offspring. He is a handsome, very well put together stallion with
a fabulous can-do attitude and loving personality which he passes on to his foals. We had another Macha Breeze
baby in May 2008. Machado is Serendipity's half sibling.
Sera has lifetime recordings with the USEF, USDF and the USEA.
Shows: Sera attended her first show Sept. 13 &
14, 2008 - the Southern Hospitality Dressage Breeders Classic I & II. Although she did not pin in her
two classes, she performed well, demonstrated her outstanding movement, and received very good scores (75.5% and
71.9%) and comments, including the straightness/correctness of her feet and legs, and this was amongst difficult
competition attending for USDF Regional finals. We were also pleased to see how quickly Sera settled into the show
environment considering that this was the very first time she had been off the farm and wasn't prepped in advance for
the show (last minute entry and owner had ankle injury.)
Sera is for sale at $9500.
