At First Sight at 28 months of age 2009 newborn Blitz und Donner x Ala filly first turnout at 9 days of age Description:   Just as our other Trakehner foals, this filly is sweet and friendly.  "Love" is confident and approaches us for nuzzling, baby kisses and scratches.  She is a large foal and even her large Percheron recipient dam had some trouble delivering her.  Consequently, she came out quite folded up and stiff.  She is straightening up and becoming more agile and playful.  This is a tall and substantial filly.  Pictured above at 16.2 hh at only 28months of age you can see she is in an awkward stage. She is growing quickly and we expect her to mature at close to 17hh.   Love is a lovely moving filly with a nice floating trot and a very people oriented personality. She has more maturing to do so we plan to get her started in 2013 and begin proving her as a performance horse (dressage) while flushing embryos from her. Registration: American Trakehner Association.  This filly is registered in the Official Registry Book (ORB) of the ATA as a pure bred Trakehner.  She will be eligible for inspection and registration in the Official Stud Book (OSB) as early as 3 years of age.
